The Lamplighter Hockey Stick Weight is a training device designed to increase shot velocity, stick handling skills, and upper body strength.
The weight is placed inside the shaft of the hockey stick.
First, the plug needs to be removed, then the weight can be inserted into the stick for training. The weight can remain in the stick or be removed for continued practice or game play.
The video shows a Squirt age hockey player shooting pucks without the stick weight. Then he inserts it and continues to shoot more pucks. He then removes the weight. The purpose of this demonstration is to show how easily the stick weight can be inserted and removed. It also demonstrates how the weight doesn't affect the ability of the stick to be used for shooting while the weight is in place.
There are MANY ways to incorporate a stick weight into your training routine. Contact us for more information at 218.280.7018 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
