Born and raised in Warroad, Minnesota, Hampton grew up in the hockey-rich community that helped shape his competitive spirit and passion for the game. Today, he stands as one of the brightest young goaltenders in the country.

At 6’2” and 185 pounds, Hampton uses his size and agility to dominate the crease. Playing for Western Michigan University, he posted outstanding numbers during the 2024-25 season:
